Crochet Shell Cowl

I've been on a kick since developing this pattern last week + I still can't get enough of crocheting these mini cowls.

They whip up so quickly + with only one skein making them easily addicting.  I may or may not have made 7 over the weekend....

... and started another one tonight to work on while my laptop loads all these pictures...  :)

What has got you all caught up lately?

  1. That's a great idea to pass the time. I could probably do that with easy patterns, but tricky ones I have to fully pay attention. I like sewing for a similar reason when I'm at home. I can take a minute to sew a little, then go back to what I'm doing. Works great for waiting for water to come to a boil, etc.

  2. Thanks Liesl! I so much enjoy reading your posts as well! When I don't have much to say in a blog post, I try to at least check in on Instagram (@knittedhome). Hope to see you there! Instagram.com/knittedhome

  3. I hadn't thought of sewing in that regard. In fact, that is one of the reasons that I don't sew more = it always feels like I have to sit at/ am chain to the table. But I used to bring a little embroidery sampler on a hoop with me when I was on that kick for a summer. ...Maybe I'll have to get into that again... :)
